Lars joined the military after his school days. Lars completed his basic military service for nine months with Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards) which is an infantry regiment within the Danish army's Danish army. After the completion of his military service Lars decided that it was not what he wanted and began searching for something new. He then decided to pursue a degree in biology. Anette who had been working for the military for one year, returned home from a juggler's class to show him how well she could juggle within just three days. Lars was pleased about it and was determined to try it as well. Therefore, he quit college and went to the juggler's college as well. At this school he learned the art of juggling and fire breathing, in addition to other things. After that, he traveled with two of his friends as touring artists across Europe performing in cities like Paris, Munich, Moscow and Warsaw. He met a children's circus after a few years and was able to master both children's and street theatre as and pantomime.
