Vinita Nair

In July of 2004 Nair joined ABC News as a reporter and reported on a wide range of stories. These included the probe into the death of Jon Benet Ramsey and the shootings that occurred in Bailey, Colorado. Nair became a part of ABC News as an anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now in December 2007. In her capacity as a reporter, she offered live news as well as briefings for ABC's network. Nair worked as a co-anchor on World News Now, America This Morning, and ABC's digital networks from September 17th, from 2008 until February 18, the 18th of February. In both of the shows Nair was initially paired alongside Jeremy Hubbard then later Rob Nelson. On the 17th of February, 2011, Nair made it clear that Friday February 18, would be her final night of air for World News Now. It would also be her last day working for ABC News. The former KDVR Denver anchor Peggy Bunker was her successor immediately. The issue of February 18 on World News Now paid tribute to Nair during each of its three segments. It also featured appearances from current and former coworkers, such as Jeremy Hubbard. In her last day, she treated the entire crew for breakfast. Vinita Vinita Vinita Vinita
